Limited Edt x PUMA Blaze of Glory Celebrates Singapore's 50th Year of Independence
Paying homage to “The Lion City.”
In celebration of Singapore’s 50th year of independence, PUMA has teamed up with the country’s premier sneaker boutique Limited Edt for a commemorative reinterpretation of the Blaze of Glory. Drawing inspiration from the mythical features of the country’s Merlion symbol, the mid-top runner is done up in a striking medley of premium materials and contrasting textures that includes silver pony hairs along the toecap, a fish scale pattern printed on the 3M body, and a speckled translucent rubber outsole. Further detailing paying homage to the country’s heritage and flag are the touches of red throughout, and a custom insole that tells the tale of how Singapore earned the nickname of “The Lion City.” The first in a trio of collaborative projects with PUMA, purchase a pair exclusively at Limited Edt locations starting August 21, while a limited selection will be available through select global accounts starting August 28.
