Yesterday, tragic news hit us as it was reported that 22-year-old Chicago rapper Capo, a close associate of Chief Keef, was killed in a drive-by shooting. To add to the catastrophe, a one-year-old child was also killed during the process, when the shooter accidentally struck his stroller on the sidewalk in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood. One of Keef’s spokespeople told The Chicago Tribune that he is “so heartbroken and appalled” by the events, and in honor of the toddler’s family, he would give a free hologram performance to address the “out of control situation.” Why the hologram? The Chicago rapper currently faces outstanding warrants that his legal team is working on to resolve. In addition to the performance, he also announced a crime-reduction cause, Stop the Violence Now Foundation. The performance will take place on July 17; we’ll keep you updated.
