Taylor Swift is really not feeling streaming music services. After pulling her latest offering, 1989, from Spotify for devaluing albums as a music format, representatives from Swift’s label Big Machine Records and Apple have confirmed that the album won’t be available on Apple’s soon-to-launch streaming service Apple Music. 1989 has sold almost five million copies since its launch last November, making it the best-selling album of both 2014 and 2015, at least so far. Interestingly, the album has been shown on screen earlier this month at Apple’s WWDC event, further fueling earlier rumors that suggested Apple has somehow secured Swift’s fifth studio album exclusively for Album Music.
