Slim Jimmy of Rae Sremmurd Injured During Governors Ball Set

During their performance at Governors Ball on Saturday, Slim Jimmy of Rae Sremmurd slipped off a speaker in front of the stage, and badly injured his leg as a result. He was immediately taken backstage, and announced through his microphone that a piece of glass had lacerated his leg. According to Billboard, he took the situation bravely and light-heartedly, encouraging fans to upload the footage on social media platforms by saying “If you got that video, put that shit on Instagram.” After Jimmy was escorted to the hospital, Swae Lee — his brother and the other half of Rae Sremmurd — continued the performance.
