In anticipation of 2015 fall/winter, contemporary Scandinavian fashion label Wood Wood has released its latest lookbook titled “Internationalism.” The collection is a resulting mix of Wood Wood’s characteristic sportswear tendencies accentuated by a careful selection of ’70s color palettes and detailing. While allowing such outdated influences to inspire the collection, the brand has proactively maintained the “progressive sports-fashion approach” for which it has become so popular for over the years. The collection’s color palette composes of muted browns, tans, and golden flourishes that have been placed against staple pieces in minimal shades of blue and black. Upper layers such as zip-front jackets, button-down shirts and long-sleeve sweaters retain Wood Wood’s affinity with the use of bold, graphical motifs while suede layers and loose-fitting pieces remind us of the collection’s ’70s influences. The Wood Wood “Internationalism” collection will be available to purchase worldwide from August – stay tuned to the official brand website for more information.
