The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr. Announces Release of New Solo Project and Shares First Track, “Born Slippy”

The Strokes’ guitarist, Albert Hammond Jr. is releasing his third solo project, Momentary Masters, this summer on July 31 via Vagrant Records. Frequent Strokes collaborator Gus Oberg produced most of the LP but different from his last project, Hammond brought on additional collaborators, including guitarists Mon Khmer’s Hammarsing Kharhmar and Bleachers’ Mikey Hart, bassist Jordan Brooks, and drummer Jeremy Gustin. Today, we get the first track from Momentary Masters, the guitar laced, indie rock “Born Slippy.”
