Among the more exciting additions to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6s — which is due out later this year — is the inclusion of Apple’s Force Touch technology along with haptic feedback. According to a report from 9to5Mac, sources have confirmed that Apple’s next-generation iPhone will include brand new displays that use the Force Touch technology employed by the new trackpads on the latest MacBooks. The report goes on to say that the tech will allow Apple to replace many press-and-hold button interactions and will be integrated into apps like Maps, Calendar and media players for a superior user experience. Like the aforementioned trackpads, the new iPhone displays will also offer real-time haptic feedback so that users can physically feel their Force Touch input.
Stay tuned for more info on the iPhone 6s and look for the phone to make its debut this August.
