As a part of a rolling launch over the summer, Brendon Babenzien’s NOAH has teamed up with Chris Gibbs’ UNION on a limited collection of T-shirts. The release comes after NOAH’s brief pop-up installation at The Supermarket – a full-service idea space owned by Exposure Communications – and is the latest in what is sure to be a lengthy list of collaborations in line for the burgeoning brand. During his 15-year tenure with Supreme as its chief creative/design director, Babenzien worked with Robert Bly-esque meticulousness to say not only the right thing, but the right thing powerfully. In this collaboration with longtime friend Gibbs and UNION, the creative again flexes his finesse for such details. Ostensibly making reference to the first track of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ debut album – that which plots out the band’s white-knuckle drive into the sunset of rock ‘n’ roll lore – the shirts are issued in either white or black with your choice of wording on the front. Check out the pieces above and keep your eyes peeled to NOAH’s website and Instagram page for your shot at the new releases.
