Batman Rides the Jokermobile During Filming of 'Suicide Squad' in Toronto

Photographer Summer Leigh recently provided the above photos to Autoblog of the hijinks of the cast of Suicide Squad during a late-night shoot in Toronto. Depicted is Batman (whether it is Ben Affleck or a stunt double is unclear) attached with a safety harness to the top of a dazzling chromed purple-and-gold Jokermobile, with Jared Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn riding within the lit interior. Purportedly the work of kit-maker Vaydor, the Jokermobile is strongly reminiscent of the car customization subculture of Japan, with powerful-seeming brakes and purple ground-effect lighting to top it off. Look for this particular scene to appear in its full post-CGI glory when Suicide Squad hits cinemas on August 6, 2016.
