You now have the chance to stay at an apartment that once housed Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Located on Spaulding Avenue in Fairfax, California, the duo lived there from 1991-1992 while Love was pregnant with daughter Frances Bean Cobain, and Kurt was writing songs for Nirvana’s In Utero. The apartment’s current tenant is Brandon Kleinman who has lived there since 2011. According to Kleinman, he didn’t learn about Cobain and Love’s residency until he signed the lease, as the landlord was having trouble finding good tenants when he advertised that backstory. However, Kleinman promises that the apartment is in good shape now, and you can check out the before and after photos above with rates going for $1,140 USD a week. Head over to the listing at Airbnb here.
