Ron English's New "Popaganda" Bowery Mural Pairs an American Flag With a Hulk Baby

Yesterday afternoon, Ron English instilled his latest piece of work on the Houston-Bowery Wall in New York. The expansive mural features recognizable characters and illustrated motifs from the artist’s portfolio within an American flag. Included is Ron’s suggestive 7-Eleven parody painting that reads, “9/11. The 24/7 excuse for everything” and his familiar “Magical Messiah meat $6.66 lb.” Also depicted is Ron’s miniature hulk styled, “Temper Tot,” which is seen bursting onto the scene in an expressive manner.
