Unveiled last year, we now get a look at the GPS-enabled Casio G-Shock GPW1000 “Gravity Master” in action courtesy of Danish photographer/filmmaker Klaus Thymann. Touted as the world’s first atomic solar hybrid watch, the GPW1000 pairs GPS technology with multi-band 6 radio system to provide accurate times in more places than ever before. This advancement is then surrounded in a G-Shock casing that features the “Triple G” designation for added durability. In “TIMEZONE,” the appropriately-named short film above, Thymann makes his way through three largely uninhabited areas — Cenote Agelita, Mexico; Fox Glacier, New Zealand; and Mount Nyiragongo, the Congo — over the span of 24 hours. His breathtaking footage is complemented by the toughness and accuracy of the GPW1000. Learn more about the film and watch here.
