adidas has partnered with Boston-based graffiti artist Percy Fortini-Wright for a collection of paintings inspired by the Boston Marathon. The artwork features abstract paintings that depict iconic moments in the marathon’s history, including the survivors crossing the finish line at the 2014 marathon, Geoffrey Mutai breaking a race world record in 2011, Johnny Kelley catching up to his rival in 1936, and Chris Laudani shoveling snow at the finish line. Official race partner adidas has put the artwork up for auction through Paddle8, with proceeds going towards the One Fund Center to help those who were affected by the Boston Marathon bombing attacks. The online auction will close April 27.
