The TIDAL push has been heavy since its announcement. The incentives began when Taylor Swift, who is known to have pulled all her songs off Spotify, made her music available on JAY Z’s new streaming service. Later, pop queens Beyonce and Rihanna both released new songs exclusively on the platform. Now we learn that J. Cole, who was the first-ever signee to Jigga’s Roc Nation, is releasing another incentive to ensure more people subscribe to the hi-fidelity, “artist-run,” service. Using the tagline “Better than the front row, closer than backstage,” he took to Facebook to announce that he will be hosting a special private concert with the top listeners of his music on TIDAL from April 11 to April 20. Don’t get too excited though, this will only be applicable for users residing in NYC. Check the flyer below.
