Aiming to deliver an experience that “captures the significance of Air Max in New York City,” KITH’s Ronnie Fieg is commemorating the release of the Nike Air Max Zero through the introduction on an exciting new release method, entitled #KithNikeArtifact. By understanding New York City’s preference towards athletic footwear and the overwhelming Air Max takeover that ensued during the ’80s, KITH have teamed up with Snarkitecture to “build 100 white cast Nike Air Max Zeros.” The casts will come housed in a custom box with an accompanying tri-branded KITH, Nike and Snarkitecture dust bag – each of which contains a single ticket that will guarantee the opportunity to purchase the Nike Air Max Zero on Air Max Day, March 26 at KITH SoHo.
As of tomorrow, March 21, KITH will scatter the casts around all five New York boroughs in locations that are of childhood significance to Ronnie Fieg and places that influenced him growing up. For more information, head on over to KITH directly and stay tuned to their Instagram and Twitter handles for more updates. Good luck!
