Released in 2011, Jiro Dreams of Sushi has become cult classic for food aficionados worldwide. Now, director David Gelb is back with a series called Chef’s Table. Slated to premiere on Netflix next month, Gelb believes that the best way to handle food television is to channel the chef’s passion, which is what he is bringing to Chef’s Table. The six-part series consists of one-hour documentaries offering a glimpse into the lives of some of the world’s most high-profile chefs, such as Ben Shewry of Attica, Magnus Nilssen of Fäviken, Francis Mallmann of Patagonia Surr, among many more. The series will drop on Netflix on April 26, check out the trailer below.
