Sesame Street‘s recent “House of Bricks” video is a clever take on the show House of Cards. The video follows the ruthless Frank Underwolf on his quest to overtake the white brick house. References from the political thriller is seen throughout, from Underwood’s Southern drawl to his signature habit of breaking the fourth wall to address the audience. The video draws parallels between the story of the Three Little Pigs and the hit Netflix series, and is complete with entertaining puppet characters, animations, and of course, subtraction tests to educate the kids. It also serves as good preparation for House of Cards‘ season 3, set to debut Friday 27. Enjoy “House of Bricks” above.
