Fwdslxsh cooked up a stellar mix for us last fall, and now he’s served up another mix for i-D. Entitled Music To… Drift To, the HW&W artist’s latest mix is more of the same experimental, genre-clashing beat-work that earned him millions of listens across the globe. From street rap to reworked pop numbers to smooth, crystalline house, the London producer covers all in this expansive, eclectic mix. This is definitely the sonic “journey” it’s billed as is. Speaking to i-D about today’s mix, Fwdslxsh gave the following statement breaking down the piece:

“To me, drifting is being in a zone where your mind is free to wander. Music easily puts me in that place. With this mix, I wanted to blend together a handful of songs – old and new – that have all allowed me to drift away from reality for a while and to just feel the music, regardless of genre.”
