In an effort to keep the tradition of watchmaking alive, The Horological Society of New York in association with HODINKEE have teamed up to announce a free single-session class appropriately named “Watchmaking 101.” Revitalizing a program originally introduced in the 1950s, it is taught by a professional watchmaker and covers subjects such as mechanical watch movement and the fundamentals of using all necessary tools to comprehensively understand the process.
