To celebrate the launch of the collaborative 2015 spring/summer range, adidas Originals and SPEZIAL present a short film documenting a fan’s journey to the birthplace of the three stripes that is Herzogenaurach. Featuring an original score by Academy Award-winning composer Atticus Ross of Gone Girl and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, the protagonist is shown making the trip from Munich to the house where Adi Dassler once lived, while showcasing some of the key pieces of the upcoming collection. This film is particularly significant to the creator of the adidas Originals x SPEZIAL range, Gary Aspden, as it mirrors a voyage he himself embarked on when looking for inspiration from the extensive adidas archives. Check out the short film above and let us know what you think in the comments below.
