Yardsale's Skate Film "SOFTCORE" Glides Through London to Sounds of Vaporwave
A kaleidoscopic clip shot with Super 8 mm film.
Fledgling London skate imprint Yardsale has unveiled its latest film dubbed “SOFTCORE.” Filmed between London, LA and New York via the use of Super 8 mm film, the latest promo clip continues the brand’s retro aesthetic as patrons of the British skate scene (such as Curtis Pearl, Jake Church, Darius Trabalza, Kyle Wilson, Devyn Neal and David Bowens) cruise the city streets to the nostalgic backing odes of Detroit techno and vaporwave. Adding riffs of vintage appeal to the flaunt of tricks, “SOFTCORE” is a compelling repertoire even for those who aren’t avid skater. The short also coincides with Yardsale’s latest apparel and board release which are currently stocked at Slam City Skates and Flatspot, alongside the brand’s own web store.
