In a new interview with HOT 97, A$AP Ferg pulled back the curtain on the specifics of his anticipated new studio album Always Strive And Prosper. Speaking to HOT 97′s Nessa, Ferg revealed that he worked with ScHoolboy Q, Missy Elliott, Rick Ross,Ty Dolla $ign, Chris Brown and others for the project. Besides those artists, Ferg also looked to producers such as DJ Mustard, DJ Khalil and Clams Casino for the record’s beats. He also explained that the LP’s lead single, “New Level” featuring Future, came to life as a result of Ferg’s directorial work for the upcoming video for the DS2 track ”I Thought It Was a Drought.” Though a release date for Always Strive And Prosper is not public, Ferg says we can expect to hear the full project “very soon.”
