Unseen Art's 3D-Printed Versions of Classical Artwork Allow the Blind to Feel Famous Masterpieces
Please touch the art.

Unseen Art launched with one goal in mind: to spread art around the world by making it accessible for all people to “see.” The company is an online platform that creates 3D prints of artworks, beginning with Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, so the blind and visually impaired can experience world-renowned masterpieces. It’s currently running a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to be able to create printable 3D files of famous art selected by a panel of curators that would be downloadable and printable off any 3D printer worldwide for free. The campaign is offering 3D prints of the Mona Lisa to its pledgers, who can also opt to donate their piece to organizations that help the visually impaired.
