Lyon, France retailer SUMMER works with contemporary French label sansnom. on a reworked 2015 fall/winter hoodie in honor of the Lyon Festival of Lights. The annual event, dating back to 1852, saw its first ever cancellation this year in response to the November 2015 Paris attacks and will thus hold a vigil in place of the festival that is usually filled with joy and celebration. sansnom. and SUMMER’s collaboration hoodie, which was meant to commemorate the planned festival, now has a new meaning to its design due to the tragedy that befell Paris. The parka features 3M overlaid print details and a “Let There Be Light” message across the lower rear waist, with complementing dual branding. The partnership now hopes to shed some support for those lives lost during the tragic events that took place and to encourage everyone to “stay strong.” Visit the sansnom. official website for availability.
