Canada Goose 'OUT THERE' Short Film Directed by Paul Haggis
The luxury outdoor label celebrates 60 years of saving people from the cold with the Academy Award-winning director.
Earlier this year Ipsos Reid conducted a survey with results indicating that over two-thirds of people in Canada, the U.S. and the UK feel that a life without adventure isn’t a life lived, but with almost half admitting they rarely try to leave their comfort zones. With a new global campaign that strives to embrace this sense of energy, legendary outdoor weather clothier Canada Goose launches a new short film in partnership with Academy Award-winning Canadian filmmaker and director Paul Haggis (Million Dollar Baby (2004), Crash (2005)) and cinematographer Sean Bobbitt (12 Years a Slave (2013)).
Titled OUT THERE, the film celebrates the Toronto-born brand’s heritage by documenting the history of their famous jacket — a longstanding adversary of adventure backed by 60 years of saving people from extreme weather. Notable explorers like Laurie Skreslet, Lance Mackey and Karl Bushby also share their true stories of outdoor adventures that solidify OUT THERE as a stunning tale that binds together travel, exploration, film, fashion and community.
