Michael Jordan’s career as an NBA player is legendary, a title that is more than well-deserved. But even though he is considered one of the greatest athletes of all time, Jordan himself admits that his sneaker legacy has surpassed his on-court achievements. He recently told USA Today: “To me, it’s much bigger than Michael Jordan. It’s going to outlive me in terms of what I did for the game of basketball.’’ Even though he played his last game more than a decade ago, Air Jordan sales continue to soar.

I can’t explain it and no one can explain it. And if anybody could explain it or duplicate it, they would have done it by now,” Jordan said. Having achieved billionaire status thanks to his empire, Jordan definitely has bragging rights when it comes to sneaker accomplishments.
