Björk to Release Strings Version of 'Vulnicura' & Shares New Version of "Lionsong"

The project features an instrument designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

Björk made a newsworthy return with Vulnicura earlier this year and now the Icelandic legend has announced that the LP will be remade featuring only strings and her voice. It will feature violin solos by Una Sveinbjarnardóttir as well as the world’s only viola organista, an instrument designed by Leonardo da Vinci. The project will be available both digitally and on CD on November 6, and vinyl on December 4. On top of the announcement she has shared a remade version of “Lionsong.” Listen to the track below.
