Nike SB‘s latest marquee release aimed to redefine flexibility and movement in a skate shoe with their Nike SB Free. It has been Nike’s continued innovation and understanding of performance that has made it a leading player across multiple disciplines. However, the sharing of technology such as Free has truly enabled the better design of footwear and equipment across various sports. Predominately seen across running footwear, the inclusion of Free in a skating context meant a greater relationship between a rider and his board and an overall lighter and more flexible shoe.
