Although the single was released back in 2013, here the music video for Sia’s collaboration with The Weeknd and Diplo – “Elastic Heart” – is finally realized. Aiming to parallel the song’s sentiments on emotional wrestling, the music video creates a physical allegory with two lovers in a cage. The lovers, played by recurring Sia video dancer Maddie Ziegler (previously of “Chandelier”) and Shia LeBeouf, both find a way to express the frustration, passion, anger and ultimate embrace of a tumultuous relationship through movement.
