Foo Fighters‘ frontman (and Nirvana’s drummer) Dave Grohl celebrated his 46th birthday in Los Angeles yesterday with a “surprise” benefit concert, and it featured some of the rock music’s most revered names. Guests who were part of the 31-song performance included included Paul Stanley from Kiss, Slash and Tenacious D, Alice Cooper, Nicki Oliveri, Zakk Wylde, Perry Farrell, David Lee Roth and Lemmy Kilmister, and they performed songs by Queen, Led Zeppelin, Roky Erickson, Black Sabbath, Jane’s Addiction, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, and Chuck Berry.
