Jamie Foxx drops by HOT97 and speaks on the opening scene to the upcoming Mike Tyson biopic. Directed by Martin Scorsese, the forthcoming film on the boxing champ features a memorable opening scene, which Foxx describes in detail. Starting off with a screenshot of the sky, the camera slowly travels through the streets of New York City, highlighting the faces of everyday citizens. Then the camera turns to a boxing gym where a hulking figure is training a young boxer. In between dialogue of the young boy’s admiration of his trainer who turns out to be the legendary Mike Tyson, the film flashes back to Tyson’s last bout where he was knocked out and concludes with a portrait of a young Mike Tyson training in the gym.
