Best known as the proprietor of the famous Los Angeles food truck Kogi BBQ, which can be said to have kick-started the food truck trend across North America, chef and restauranteur Roy Choi is set to release a new web miniseries called Street Food with Roy Choi. In the show we are taken on a tour of Los Angeles as Choi hits up a coterie of influencers, including the likes of Anthony Bourdain, Michelle Phan and filmmaker Jon Favreau, and follows them to their favorite joints around town, exploring the melange of culinary trends that makes up the Los Angeles food scene. The series will be made up of eight five-minute episodes, all set to release on October 13 on CNN.
