Theophilus London Teams Up with Karl Lagerfeld for New Album

In case you didn’t know, Theophilus London has a new album in the works. It’s called Vibes, and judging by early reports, it’ll be rather special. As WDD points out, the Brooklynite has recruited none other than Karl Lagerfeld as the art director for his new project. Lagerfeld art-directed and photographed all imagery for Vibes, as well as the cover art for the album’s first official single, “Tribe.” This somewhat unexpected collaboration came to fruition via Virgil Abloh and DONDA. The full album will be released in October, but its first single, “Tribes,” which features an impromptu jumping shot of London in a Dior jacket, will be available on September 2.
