An Exclusive Look at the BAIT x Saucony Shadow Original “Cruel World 3: Global Warning″

Following our recent teaser of the BAIT x Saucony Shadow Original “Cruel World 3: Global Warning,” we now bring you an exclusive look at the upcoming third chapter release of the “Cruel World” initiative by retailers BAIT and sneaker brand Saucony. The cause in mind for this collaborative effort is climate change, represented throughout the sneaker’s construction of premium soft leathers and wolverine silk suede, together with tiger heather knitted textile on the upper, heel and inner lining that offer relief from the winter months ahead. The outsoles take on a blue ice effect, representing the state of our planet’s ice caps while other accents include 3M detailing and custom BAIT branding. Although winter appropriate, the shoe releases this summer as a call out to the impending change in our atmosphere’s temperature. With that in mind, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC.org), an environmental action organization dedicated to solving the climate change crisis.
