Despite all the well-warranted controversy surrounding R. Kelly, he’s still one of the biggest artists to come out of Chicago in the past couple decades, and Chance the Rapper brought out the 47-year-old R&B crooner for a short guest performance during his Lollapalooza set. Chance tweeted “It’s a Chicago thing. I love music and touring. But tonight it’s for Chicago,” and brought out R. Kelly as an ode to their hometown. R. Kelly performed “Ignition (Remix),” “Bump N’ Grind,” and “The World’s Greatest,” and fan footage of his performance of “Ignition (Remix)” can be viewed above.
