Created in collaboration with the foremost authority in color, Pantone, Y&R Shanghai turns to some of our favorite childhood characters to help redefine certain color codes. Titled “There Can Only Be One,” this campaign sees the likes of Cookie Monster, Kermit the Frog, Garfield, and more reimagined in a two-dimensional box with just their eyes and respective body color showing. Proving to be an ingeniously simple way to promote awareness for the subliminal power of color, this series helped Y&R Shanghai take home a collection of awards at Cannes Lions.
