After a drumroll that has included a full-fledged apparel line (unveiled just yesterday), Ronnie Fieg‘s extended work for Dover Street Market is capped off with the release of the PUMA XT-2 “Achromatic.” Previewed back in May, this divinely minimal iteration of the sneaker pays homage to Dover Street Market’s acute attention to detail and elite craftsmanship. As such, the hallmark XT-2 silhouette has been stripped of ostentatious branding or color, rebuilt with thick Italian glove leather at the upper, and reworked with quilted calfskin leather at the interior lining. Made available in either black or white, the design lives up to its “Achromatic” name by straying away from ‘colored’ perceptions and focusing solely on details. The release is accompanied with custom calfskin dust and lace bags. Look for the Ronnie Fieg x PUMA XT-2 “Achromatic” at all KITH and Dover Street Market stores beginning July 26, priced at $180 USD.
