Aloe Blacc – The World Is Ours

The 2014 FIFA World Cup has begun with the a much-discussed victory of Brazil over Croatia earlier today. For the musical side of things Coca-Cola has teamed up with singers Aloe Blacc and David Correy to launch The World is Ours campaign with an all-new record called “The World Is Ours.” The song captures the carnival spirit and sounds of Brazil while serving as the official Coca-Cola, FIFA World Cup 2014 anthem.

‘”The World is Ours’ started as a Brazilian song with the beats and sounds of Brazil, and then traveled around the world where artists and remixers added local languages, sounds and instruments. We were looking for a global artist that would bring another perspective, with integrity and authenticity, and that is exactly what Aloe did.’ They added, ‘We’re delighted to be partnering with Aloe Blacc to help us bring the story of The World’s Cup to life through music.’
