To commemorate its 100th anniversary, Leica will release a new M-A film camera alongside a new 28mm Summilux-M f/1.4 ASPH lens. Constructed from solid stainless steel for the first time in its history, this model stands as a symbol of both Leica’s celebrated origins and promising future. The mechanical M-A, with technical specifications based on the currently available MP film shooter, is a direct descendent of the Ur-Leica. Both of these items will be included in a limited to 101 black anodized aluminum case that also includes the Leica M Monochrom as well as a 35mm and 50mm lens.
