Nike Basketball 2014 Elite Series "Hero" Collection

Designed to the real-life superhero-like specifications of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant Nike Basketball presents the “Hero” edition of its 2014 Elite Series footwear. While the “Team” collection offered hyperized hues of the respective stars’ team colors, the new “Hero” releases bring superhero-inspired colorways to the updated versions of the NBA signature footwear. As the articulated external cage and Hyperposite protection of King James’s LeBron 11 Elite don bright “Laser Crimson,” Kevin Durant’s KD VI Elite sees “Turbo Green” across its perforated upper. Finally, the Black Mamba’s Kobe 9 Elite comes in “Wolf Grey” with a pop art-inspired camo-like motif at its heel. The 2014 Elite Series “Hero” collection is set to launch May 9 at Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com.
