Having released a full-length cover of Pink Floyd‘s The Dark Side of the Moon back in 2009, The Flaming Lips have raised a glass to the classic progressive-rock album once more by today releasing a “companion LP” titled Flaming Side Of The Moon. Created to compliment the original Pink Floyd project, the “companion LP” is designed to be played alongside The Dark Side of the Moon, and has apparently also been “carefully crafted to sync up perfectly with the 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz.” The Flaming Side of the Moon will have a limited edition 100-piece vinyl release, available to friends and family only, but if you’re not in line to receive a vinyl you can stream the project above.
