Drake's OVO Fest Will Receive $300,000 of Government Funding
Drake’s fifth annual OVO Fest is slated to take place August 3 and 4 at the Molson Canadian

Drake‘s fifth annual OVO Fest is slated to take place August 3 and 4 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Ontario, Canada. With Drake and OutKast serving as headliners, and what is sure to be a long list of big name special guests all set to perform at the two day festival, it’s no surprise that the event is expected to attract a large amount of tourists and provide a serious boost in spending around the area. To help the event run smoothly, Celebrate Ontario, a program dedicated to helping festivals make improvements that will lead to long-term success, has awarded OVO Fest with a $300,000 grant. In the first four years, the festival managed to bring out some of hip-hop’s biggest stars including Kanye West, Jay Z, Eminem, Diddy and Lil Wayne, and with this grant we might see that trend continue for years to come.
