After rolling out previews over the course of the past few months, the first full installment of CASTE Quality‘s collaboration with French skateboarding brand Magenta has been unveiled. Delivered in the form of a beautifully-crafted video, “CASTE x Magenta” explores the origins and ethos behind one of skateboarding’s great modern independent brands. Founders Soy Panday and Vivien Fiel give an account of their inspirations, which has its roots firmly planted in disciplines like architecture, city design and animation. The second half of the piece transports the audience to San Francisco, where riders Leo Valls and Ben Gore offer their artistic take on skateboarding and its overlap with videography and photography.
