Musicians, do you ever feel like you would’ve made it by now if you just had a little more money? RAC feels you on this, which is why he launched the nationwide campaign “Green Label Sound: Open Call” in hopes to search for and provide monetary assistance for the next great musical talent. Teaming up with Mountain Dew and SoundCloud, the goal is to discover that one artist and but him or her in the limelight he or she deserves. Here’s how it works: from today (December 1) until December 26, musicians from any genre or style of music are called to submit a piece of original work, which will then be considered by a panel of judges. The winner will win a $50,000 grant to record an EP, career advice from RAC, a music video, and an opportunity to perform on the Green Label House stage at SXSW for 2015. Check over the details here, and best of luck.
