adidas Unveils the "Chicago Ice" & "Woven Blues" Editions of the D Rose 5 Boost

Coming soon from adidas are two brand new takes on Derrick Rose‘s latest signature silhouette: the “Chicago Ice” and “Woven Blues” editions of the Bulls star’s D Rose 5 Boost. A nod to Rose’s hometown, the “Chicago Ice” couples a black mesh SPRINT WEB upper with an embossed satellite pattern of the Windy City — a design cue first adopted by a special edition of the D Rose 2.5 — as well as contrasting white accents and an icy blue outsole, both of which reflect the city’s notoriously frigid winters. The “Woven Blues” on the other hand comes inspired by the urban blues music of the early-to-mid 20th century and eschews a SPRINT WEB upper in favor of premium woven construction, bright orange lining and white contrasts.

The “Chicago Ice” edition of the D Rose 5 Boost launches November 24 while the “Woven Blues” will follow soon after, dropping November 26.
