Teased just last week and inciting spirited reactions across the internet, adidas Originals has finally lifted the official drapes on its latest project with longtime collaborator Jeremy Scott. The two brands took to none other than the JS Wings silhouette to celebrate their decade-long relationship, executing the third rendition – the JS Wings 3.0. This iteration updates the sneaker from the top down, starting with the molded 3D leather wings that wraps across the upper. These features are complimented by a removable neoprene inner sock, patent leather across the toe box, and a synthetic leather through the midfoot. At the sole, the JS Wings 3.0 makes reference to Dikembe Mutumbo’s signature shoe, giving the fashion-forward silhouette a boost of athletic inspiration. Look for this release from adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott to drop alongside the apparel collaboration on October 31.
