In March, Johnny Cash‘s son, John Carter Cash, will be liberating a compilation of unreleased material from his father’s expansive arsenal. Though having passed some time ago, music from the legendary singer-songwriter is still as relevant as ever. Today John Carter Cash has blessed with the first single from the upcoming album, Out Among the Stars. “She Used to Love Me A Lot” is a love story ballad, which notes Cash reflecting on a former relationship. Johnny’s son had this to say regarding the song:

“I really love this song. The depth that’s there reminds me of the real serious stuff that Dad did later in his life. And I truly think it’s one of the beautiful undiscovered gems in my dad’s catalog.”

You can stream the never-before-heard tune below and lookout for more from Out Among the Stars, as it will be releasing on March 25.
