adidas Originals has tapped its iconic Superstar 80s silhouette for a special “Year of the Horse” release in celebration of the transition to the Horse sign on the Chinese zodiac calendar. Adorning the upper are ancient Chinese horse motifs, as well as ornate patterns and symbols typically found on Chinese silks. Featuring various hues of gold, the intricate upper sees the luxurious and symbolic color applied to the three stripe branding, leather heel patch, eyelets and laces. The upper sits atop a clean Superstar 80s rubber outsole with the signature white shell toe.
