Since its debut in 1997 on the original PlayStation, Sony‘s Gran Turismo has existed as the premiere racing simulator on the market, offering an unparalleled experience thanks to the meticulous attention to detail from creator Kazunori Yamauchi and the Polyphony Digital development team. Now, with Gran Turismo 6 newly available for the PlayStation 3 and the developers likely turning their attentions to the PS4, Sony takes a look back at the series with its new documentary Kaz: Pushing The Virtual Divide. Nearly 90 minutes in length, the film reflects on the 15-year history of the definitive racing franchise and shines a spotlight on the wizard that is Kazunori Yamauchi.
