'I Am Street Fighter' Documentary Celebrating 25 Years of Street Fighter

Not just any old fighting game, Street Fighter has become an iconic staple for the last 25 years, moving beyond its video gaming roots into animation, action films and manga comics. Headed by Capcom, the first release of Street Fighter made its debut in 1987, before taking over the ’90s arcade era. Adapting with technology and the times, each Street Fighter sequel exceeded its predecessor, updating its narratives with new stages, sounds and characters. In celebration of 25 years in the business, Capcom has released a documentary covering the story behind the illustrious game. The film interviews former Capcom community manager Seth Killian, producer Yoshinoro Ono and DJ Qbert, in addition to several loyal fans.
